Janet Wilkinson, APRN, Post Masters Certified MAT provider has been practicing Medication-Assisted Treatment for 13 years. She is currently building and developing a co-occurring Medication-Assisted Treatment model for the treatment
of substance use disorders within the greater Anchorage, AK region of the Mat-Su Valley.

Janet has developed an ambulatory detoxification protocol (level 2.0) for the community while developing and building an inpatient detoxification facility (level 3.2) servicing the State of Alaska recovery community.

The development of ambulatory, as well as inpatient detox services, is being designed to treat the patient’s level of substance use clinical severity to achieve safe and comfortable withdrawal from mood-altering drugs, including alcohol, and to effectively facilitate the patient’s transition to treatment and recovery.

Janet actively participates in several professional organizations including the American Association of Nurse
Practitioners and the American Society of Addiction Medicine at both a national and a state level. She also
remains active with local organizations including the Mat-Su Valley Opioid Taskforce and the Lazarus Two
Project.

In her free time, she enjoys family, cross-country skiing, and international travel.
