Session Description: Motivational Interviewing (MI) is known for its engaging and dynamic nature, similar to the conversations it facilitates. This workshop is suitable for practitioners who already have a solid foundation in the basic spirit, structure, and skills of Motivational Interviewing. It provides an opportunity for practitioners to deepen their understanding and refine their techniques, especially when dealing with more challenging cases and situations. Through active and dynamic presentations, participants will learn how to create a cohesive, safe, and secure environment to effectively engage clients in MI. The workshop will incorporate various exercises, readings, music, stories, and opportunities for pair and small group work, allowing practitioners to deepen their technical skills in Motivational Interviewing.
