James Greenblatt, MD, is a dually board-certified clinical psychiatrist who has been in practice for over thirty years. After receiving his medical degree and completing his psychiatry residency at George Washington University, Dr. Greenblatt completed a fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at Johns Hopkins Medical School. He currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer of Walden Behavioral Care, one of the largest consortiums of eating disorder and psychiatric care treatment facilities in the U.S, as well as a member of the clinical psychiatry faculty at the Dartmouth College Geisel School of Medicine and the Tufts University School of Medicine.
An acknowledged expert, educator, and author, Dr. Greenblatt has lectured nationally and internationally on the scientific evidence for an integrated approach to the assessment and treatment of psychiatric disorders. Through three decades of practice and research, Dr. Greenblatt is a leading contributor to helping physicians and patients understand the role of personalized medicine for mental illness.
He is the author of numerous books, including Finally Focused: The Breakthrough Natural Treatment Plan for ADHD and the acclaimed Answers to Anorexia (2nd ed.).
